Empowering Communities, Honouring Legacy: Glory Group of Companies Supports Marianville Secondary School

At Glory Group of Companies, we believe that true development is not only measured by the buildings we create, but by the lives we uplift along the way. Supporting education and community growth is at the heart of how we build a better future for Papua New Guinea.

It was with this spirit that we proudly presented a contribution of K5,000 to Marianville Secondary School in support of their upcoming Corporate Dinner fundraiser.

Marianville is not just a school, it is a place of history, discipline, and purpose. Founded in 1966 by the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (OLSH) Sisters, the school began with a simple but powerful mission: to provide young women in Papua New Guinea with access to quality education at a time when opportunities were limited. From its early beginnings in Badili to becoming one of the country’s leading secondary schools, Marianville has grown into a respected institution known for academic excellence, strong values, and the nurturing of women leaders.

For generations, the school has carried what many proudly call the “Marianville spirit” a commitment to shaping young women not only academically, but mentally, spiritually, and socially. This legacy of guidance, discipline, and care continues to impact families and communities across the nation.

Today, Marianville is raising funds to address a very real and practical need: safe and reliable school transport. Their current buses, after many years of service, are no longer in a condition that supports the safety of students. This fundraising effort is about ensuring that young women can continue their education with dignity, safety, and peace of mind.

At Glory Group of Companies, this resonates deeply with who we are.

Since 2009, our journey has been built on creating spaces where people can live, grow, and thrive. From our developments across Port Moresby to our expansion into education, ICT, and other sectors, our purpose has always remained the same—to improve everyday living and strengthen communities.

Supporting Marianville Secondary School is a reflection of our core value of Empowerment. When we invest in young women, we invest in families, communities, and the future leadership of our country.

This moment was more than a presentation—it was a shared understanding that building a nation requires all of us to play our part. Whether through infrastructure, education, or community support, every contribution helps move Papua New Guinea forward.

As we continue to grow, Glory Group of Companies remains committed to standing alongside institutions like Marianville—those who are shaping not just students, but future leaders with strong values and vision.

Because at the end of the day, we are not only building developments—we are building people, communities, and legacies that will stand for generations.
